Scripture:  For once you were in darkness, but now in the Lord you are light.   Live as children of light- for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true. Try to find out what is pleasing to the Lord.  Ephesians 5:8-10

Meditation:  The light is on our minds these days as we transition from the darker days of winter into the “lighter” days of spring, particularly with “daylight savings time” bringing us longer days and JOY  to many as the sun sets later.  In Ephesians 5:8-10, Paul says that WE are light and we are to try to find out what is pleasing to the Lord.  As we live our lives of faith– seeking what is good and right and true, we are to SHINE out into the world. May our light bring the same kind of joy and renewal to others as “spring” brings to our souls.

Prayer:  Dear Lord, I pray that I might be a reflection of YOU, dear God, shining my/your light into the darkness of this world. I pray that I would continue to read your Word and seek what is pleasing to You so that I might offer Your love and grace, peace, hope, and forgiveness to people that I encounter day by day. Thank you. Amen.
